很多新手众然很努力去发送了大量的开发信,但更多的时候都是石沉大海,接着自然便有抱怨开发信效果差,100封里面好几十封退信,剩下的就是石沉大海,难得有一个老外回一句“No, thanks.”就可以让你激动半天。对于这种现象除去例外的一些因素,基本都是开发信不符合原则。

曾几何时看到过一个德国客户给的建议是把信写的简洁明了,要删除多余的一些话。在很多新手写第一封开发信时,经常会问一些毫无意义的话,其实开发信,尤其你第一次联系客户时,直接一点,告诉客户你是谁,做什么以及你的优势在哪里,只要把这三点表述清楚,就足够了,其他的可以以后慢慢谈。

总之,第一次联系客人的时候最好全文本,尽量不要用粗体,或者弄得五颜六色。除了一小部分标新立异的客人,大部分人是不会喜欢的。只要掌握3个要素,效果会比漫天乱发要好得多。

1)简洁。内容一定要简洁,尽量控制在3段以内,每段不超过两句话。

2)简单。用你能用的简单的单词,让每个即使是非英语国家的客人都不会产生歧义。

3)准确。内容要到位,不说任何的废话,每句话切中要点,不要漫无边际。

所以针对客户的信函,一定要言简意赅,因为现在所有的人都生活在忙碌中。
